Giving Back

Smart Coats was one of the Sponsors of 2nd Annual Beantown Bowling Event that took place on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Splitsville at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA organized by NEAHMA – New England Affordable Housing Management Association

Smart Coats partnered with NEDC, EMNARI and the Room to Dream Foundation to help a local family by remodeling a room for their child who suffers from a chronic medical condition. We helped to create an updated living space in the master bedroom that Janice shares with her parents, as well as updates to the other bedrooms. Gledson Gomes, one of our senior supervisors, assisted the NEDC team with production efforts on-site along with other volunteers. Thanks to a fantastic effort by all involved, the whole project was completed in one weekend!

Every year the New England Affordable Housing Management Association hosts an event to celebrate and give back to the youth of our affordable housing communities in Massachusetts and throughout New England. This day is designed as a chance to create positive and long lasting memories for all involved. This year Smart Coats is proud to be sponsoring 20 children to attend this year’s event at a Pawtucket Red Sox game! We are thrilled to be able to help our friends at NEAHMA put on this fantastic event and we can’t wait to see everyone there. Go Sox!!
